Sitemap properties panel: Quick guide
The page properties panel allows you to manage the details of each page in your sitemap. You can rename pages, add links and notes, and customize colors to keep your sitemap organized and user-friendly.

Clone or delete pages
Easily clone or delete any page by clicking the corresponding icons.
Adding data to pages
The properties panel includes four data tabs:
- Info: Add notes, links, page types, sections, diagrams, and more.
- Files: Upload documents, images, or PDFs as content references.
- Feedback: Team members can provide suggestions or comments on specific pages.
- Page metrics: Integrate Google Analytics to monitor user behavior and optimize your sitemap.
Info tab breakdown:
- Notes: Use notes to add context or explanations for each page, clarifying its role in the overall site structure.
- Links: Link sitemap pages to live URLs to connect planned structure with actual content, helping visualize user navigation. Providing live URLs is also necessary for displaying page statistics.
- Page Types: Use page type icons to distinguish between different types of pages, like homepages, contact pages, or blog posts, for clearer sitemap organization.
- Sections: Sections help organize the layout and hierarchy of your website, ensuring each page flows well and content is broken into manageable segments for a better user experience.
- Diagrams: Diagrams map user interactions and content flow, optimizing the user experience and highlighting possible issues or improvement opportunities.
- Content: Manage content for specific pages through their properties panel.
- Mockups: Upload wireframes or designs to selected pages to guide writers, developers, and stakeholders on how to arrange content and elements.
- Page Status/Label: Use labels to manage page status.
- Page Style: Adding colors to your sitemap pages enhances their visual appeal and organization. You can use pre-designed themes from the Styling tools or apply specific colors for emphasis.
