Connecting Google Analytics (GA4) to projects

Connecting Google Analytics to your Slickplan project helps optimize pathways to your most important content, enhancing your website structure.

To link a site planning project to a Google Analytics 4 account:

1. Open the metrics panel by clicking the Metrics icon on the toolbar.

   

2. Enter your Property ID. You can find the ID in your Google Analytics admin menu.

   

3. Choose a Service Account: Slickplan or Custom.

   

• For Slickplan’s Service Account, add it as a user to your Google Analytics account with Viewer permission. In Google Analytics, go to Admin > User Management and add the following user: slickplan-com@slickplan-173612.iam.gserviceaccount.com
• If you have your own service account, select Custom and paste your JSON credentials in the field below.
4. Click Connect to finish.
