Diagram collaboration: Quick guide
One of the best aspects of creating diagrams (and all our modules) in Slickplan is the ease of collaboration with your team, whether they’re across the globe or in the next room. Working together with these features enhances your projects, boosts productivity, and brings valuable insights from diverse perspectives.
Here are some features in our Diagram Maker that you can use to collaborate with your team:
Simultaneous multi-user editing
Multiple users can view and edit diagrams simultaneously without overwriting each other’s work. Each user is represented by an avatar, enabling collaboration to create rich user flows.
Real-time chat
To communicate while working, click the chat icon next to user avatars to start a real-time chat. This allows you to discuss ideas and changes to your sitemap without needing to switch to another platform.
Drop pin commenting
You can add comments anywhere on the diagram’s canvas to highlight specific questions or explain your ideas related to that section. Check out our article on diagram comments for more details.
Status updates
You can update your team on your project’s current stage by adjusting the diagram’s status. Check out our article on diagram statuses for more details.
