Work with multilingual content
Slickplan lets you manage multiple language versions of page content within one project. Add the languages your project needs, switch between versions in the Page Editor and copy existing content when you want to reuse the same structure.
Add multiple languages to your project
- From anywhere in the app except the Page Editor, select the Settings icon in the top navigation.

- In
General settings, open the Project information tab and scroll to Content languages.

- Select the primary-language menu to choose a different primary language. Enter a language name to filter the list or scroll through the available options.

- To add another language, select + Add another language.

- Select the additional language. Repeat this step for each language you want to add.

- Select Save.
The selected languages are now available throughout Content Planner.
Switch between languages in the Page Editor
After you add multiple project languages, each page has a separate content version for every language.
- Open a page in the Page Editor.
- Select the Language version menu above the block toolbar.

- Select the language version you want to view or edit.
Switching languages does not copy content between versions. Each version remains independent and is blank until you add content, apply a template, or copy content from another language.
Copy content between language versions
Copying content gives another language version the same blocks and structure as an existing version.
Warning: Importing language content overwrites all blocks and content in the language version you currently have open.
- Open the language version that should receive the copied content.
- Select More (three-dot icon) in the upper-right corner of the Page Editor.

- Point to Copy language content, then select the language you want to copy from.

- Review the confirmation message. Select Cancel to keep the existing content or Import to replace it with content from the selected language.

After the import, you can edit or translate the copied content independently without changing the source language version.
Filter content by language in Content Overview
Use the language filter to focus the page list on one language version.
- Open Content. Overview is selected by default.
- Select the Language filter at the top of Content Overview.

- Select the language version you want to view.
Content Overview displays the pages for the selected language version. Select another language whenever you need to switch the view.
