ability to utilize different orientations at different levels of the site map

It would be great to be able to utilize the horizontal orientation at the top level and then the tree orientation at a secondary level so that the list isn’t long and you can see the levels in one line then break down into a vertical orientation. The flexibility would be useful depending on the context.
