Import WordPress XML

To import a WordPress XML file, follow these steps:

1. Export the WordPress XML file from your current website.
2. In Slickplan, open an existing project or create a new one.

   

3. Click the Import icon in the navigation bar (this will overwrite your current sitemap).

   

4. In the import panel, select the XML file tab.

   

5. Drag your file into the drop zone or click Select file to upload it from your computer.

   

6. Choose any additional options for your imported sitemap:

   

   • Add Links to include links from the imported pages
   • Import content & SEO metadata into Content Planner
   • Update project settings (site title and URL)
   • Import the sitemap into an existing section
7. Click Import to complete the process.
