Using sitemap templates

Starting a sitemap project from a template is a smart move! Templates offer proven structures that enhance user experience and speed up website planning.

To start a new project using a template:

1. Click the button labeled New project at the top right of the dashboard.

   

2. Select Plan a Website from the pop-up window, then click Create Project to proceed.

   

3. Input a project name and optionally include a logo.

   

4. Choose a popular template or…

   

   Click View more templates to select or preview different structures.

   

5. Click Save to confirm your selection.

   

6. Then, click the Next, add people button to select your project team members.

   

7. Click Create Project to finish importing your template.

   

8. Your template has been imported. Start customizing it to fit your needs and preferences.

   

To add a template to an existing project:

1. Open an existing project and click the import icon on the top right of the navigation bar.

   

2. Go to the Templates tab to access pre-built Slickplan templates.

   

3. Click the small eye icon next to each template to see a preview of its layout and structure.

   

4. Choose a template, then click Import. Slickplan will add it to your project, which will jump-start your sitemap creation.

   

5. Your template has been imported. Start customizing it to fit your needs and preferences.
