Give a tree item multiple parents

It would be great to give a single item multiple parents.

For example we have category types in a shop with have separate functionality (so are separate tree items) – but they all link to the same single product item.

Could you give us a little more information on this request. Possibly provide a visual reference of what you're trying to accomplish so we can understand how this might work into a future update?
